Miles is an engineer with over 10 years of experience in developing simulations to facilitate cutting-edge Research & Development. He has worked with companies such as McLaren, Arrival, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Lilium, with a focus on the modelling and optimisation of thermal, fluid and electrical systems. He holds undergraduate and PhD degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London.

Working as our Staff Applications Engineer, Miles is tasked with ensuring customers get the most out of our simulation products - everything from developing bespoke simulation tools and examples, to running onboarding sessions and writing technical documentation. Miles is driven by wanting to make an impact on the global push for electrification, along with finding new methods to understand the technologies and phenomena which drive it.
