Jack is an engineer with over 8 years of experience in battery research and industry. Previously he worked at Northvolt in Test and Validation as an engineer and manager. He worked with large automotive OEMs and led significant optimization and automation projects in a department with thousands of test channels. He holds an MEng in Materials Science from Imperial College London, and a DPhil (PhD) from the University of Oxford.

Working as our Lead Test Engineer, he is managing, optimizing and scaling the lab to feed our battery modelling and simulation tools with high quality and accurate data. His day to day involves designing test setups and ensuring safe and smooth running of daily lab operations.

He believes that batteries are a critical part of the transition to renewable energy and enjoys working towards their efficient use in industry.
